Queering the Tarot will be an exciting 2 part class by the author of the book by the same title. Cassandra Snow will spend both parts of this two-session class teaching Tarot basics using unique methodology for reading the cards from a queer lens. We'll see what the cards have to say about how queerness itself is Divine and how we can elevate our readings the way that works best for us by rooting in that premise. 

Queering the Tarot 101 on August 14th from 6:30-8:30 PM is a beginner's Tarot class that will go over understanding of tarot's suits, numbers and basic symbols of the Tarot by not only incorporating your values, identities and experiences, but starting there to begin with. You'll learn how to kick-start and sustain a tarot practice and dig deeper into self at the same time. 

Queering the Tarot 201 on September 18th from 6:30-8:30 PM will look at how to read two or more tarot cards together from a queer lens. We'll root in what stories matter to us as individuals and as a community, and see how those stories reveal themselves in the tarot. The class will further cover how to find and read patterns in the cards and how tarot spreads with specific placements can alter your reading. PLEASE NOTE: Taking ANY tarot 101-style class or having basic experience and knowledge with the cards is recommended for this class.

Students for both sessions should bring a tarot deck of their choosing and a way to take notes.
